Pseudotuberculosis of Sheep and Goats
Inactive Bacterial Vaccination against (Caseoz Lymphadenitis) Diseases
THE COMPONENTS: The upper part is clear, the lower part is opaque, and when shaken, it looks homogeneous and opaque.
Active Materials: The minimum amounts for one dosage (2ml);
- Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis- >2.5 Ellsa Unit ( in rabbit serums)
- Staphylococcus aureus subsp. anaerobius- >2.5 Ellsa Unit (in rabbit serums)
Adjuvant: It contains 1.8mg of Aluminum hydroxide. 2.4 mg Thiomersal 0.01% was added as a preservative.
IMMUNOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS: C.pseudotuberculosis and S.aureus subsp. In order to prevent Pseudotuberculosis (Caseous Lymphandents) disease caused by anaerobic agents and reduce clinical findings and lesions, healthy sheep and goats are vaccinated for active immunity.
AREA OF USE/INDICATIONS: Healthy sheep and goats that are infected with Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis and Staphylococcus aureus subsp. It is applied to provide active immunity against Pseudotuberculosis (Caseous Lymphadents) disease caused by anaerobic agents and to reduce the disease’s mortality, clinical findings and lesions. After the second vaccination, the immune protection process starts, lasting at least six months.
How to USE and DOSAGE: It is applied subcutaneously in an amount of 2ml to healthy sheep and goats over 2-3 months old. The second dose is applied 2-4 weeks after the first dose. If animals under 2-3 months of age are vaccinated, vaccination should be repeated at weaning period or at 4-6 months of age.
SIGNIFICANT CLINICAL INFORMATION AND WARNINGS FOR TARGETED SPECIES: It should be administered to healthy sheep and goats over 2-3 months of age. The vaccine should be at room temperature before administration. Vaccines that are frozen or out of the cold chain should not be used. It is essential to never use bottles that have damaged packaging. The vaccine should be homogenized by shaking before and during use. Asepsis and antisepsis rules must be followed during the application of the vaccine.
UNDESIRED EFFECTS: A mild increase in body temperature and swelling in the injection area are normal vaccine reactions that gradually decrease over time. Very rarely, hypersensitivity and anaphylactic reactions may occur. In such cases, adrenaline or similar preparations should be administered.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER DRUGS: There is no information about its interaction when used with other vaccines. Therefore, the use of the product on the same day or at different times with other products has not been proven to be effective and reliable. It should not be mixed or applied together with any other product.
SYMPTOMS, PRECAUTIONS AND ANTIDOTE IN OVERDOSE: The use of twice the recommended dose of the vaccine has been found safe in studies conducted on target species.

How to Preserve and Shelf Life: It should be stored at +2/+8°C, in the refrigerator and in the dark. Do not freeze it. Once opened, it should be consumed on the same day. Opened bottles should be stored at +2/+8°C. The cold chain must be maintained during use. Its shelf life is 12 months.
WARNINGS FOR END-OF-USE DISPOSAL AND NON-TARGETED SPECIES: After the use of the product, residual materials are disposed of as medical waste following the applicable waste regulations. It should not be used for non-targeted species.
FORMS OF COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION: It is effective in 10ml, 50ml, and 100ml pharmaceutical type II glass bottles and 250ml polypropylene plastic bottles, closed with a butyl stopper and aluminium cap. Bottles with a volume of 10ml are presented in vacuum packaging with a prospectus, and other volumes are presented without a box in styrofoam boxes with a prospectus.
