Veterinary Vitamin
COMPOSITION
NES-AD3E Solution for Injection is a clear yellow colored sterile solution; each 1 ml contains 105.000 IU Vitamin A (Palmitate), 52.500 IU Vitamin Dз (Cholecalciferol) and 50 mg Vitamin E (Acetate); contains 18 mg of benzyl alcohol as a preservative and 5 mg of butylhydroxytoluene as an antioxidant.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
NES-AD3E Solution for Injection is a formulation containing vitamins A, Dз, and E. It shows high bioavailability by being absorbed for a long time after intramuscular injection. It reaches its highest level in the blood in a short time. It also maintains its protective and therapeutic effect by being stored in the liver.
Vitamin A: Provides regeneration and normal function of epithelial tissue, increases body resistance against infectious diseases and ensures growth. It supports protein, carbohydrate, and fat metabolism. It prevents night blindness. In its deficiency, the integrity of epithelial tissues is disrupted, and hyperkeratosis-type discomfort occurs. When administered orally, it is absorbed by diffusion from the epithelial cells of the small intestine and reaches its peak concentration in plasma after about 4 hours. Its amount in plasma decreases to the extent that it is stored in the liver. Absorption continues in the intestines until the concentration in the liver reaches the peak (2 mg./kg./c.a.). The unabsorbed part is excreted with the stool.
Vitamin Dз: It regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and increases their biological use. The development and hardening of the skeletal tissue, ensures the formation and consolidation of the eggshell in poultry. In case of deficiency, calcium-phosphorus metabolism is disturbed. Bone and skeletal disorders such as rickets and osteomalacia occur. When administered orally, it is completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Absorbed Vitamin D3 first enters the lymph circulation and, by binding to the lipoprotein, passes into the blood circulation. The plasma half-life is approximately 20-25 hours. It is stored in all tissues, especially in adipose tissue.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E ensures the development and normal function of the genital organs. It facilitates fertilization and pregnancy. It regulates the metabolism of carbohydrates and creatinine. It supports development and growth. Increases hatching ability. It plays a role in neutralizing free-flowing oxygen groups with its antioxidant feature. It prevents the oxidation of fatty acids, which are the building blocks of cell membranes containing more than one oil in their structure, and prolongs their biological half-life. At the same time, thanks to its antioxidant action mechanism, it also ensures that the cell membrane is durable. Vitamin E, after application, first enters the blood circulation and is then stored in all body tissues.
