PUPPY DP
CAN ONLY BE USED IN ANIMAL HEALTH
LYOPHILIZED VACCINE
VETERINARY VACCINATION
THE COMPONENTS: NOBIVAC PUPPY DP contains live-attenuated strains of canine Distemper virus (CDV strain Onderstepoort) and canine Parvovirus (CPV strain 154) grown in cell line tissue culture. Each dose of Nobivac Puppy DP, presented in lyophilized and single-dose bottles, contains at least 105 TCID50 of the Onderstepoort strain of canine Distemper virus and 107 TCID50 of the attenuated C154 strain of canine Parvovirus. The vaccine also includes stabilizers and trace amounts of antibiotics.
INDICATIONS: It is used to provide active immunity against canine Distemper virus (CDV) and Parvovirus infections (CPV).
THE WAY OF USAGE/DOSAGE: The contents of a diluted vial are injected subcutaneously. Nobivac Puppy DP vaccine must be mixed with 1 ml of Nobivac solvent right before application. After dilution, it must be applied within 30 minutes at the latest.
RECOMMENDED VACCINATION PROGRAM: Nobivac Puppy DP is intended for use in animals with high levels of maternal antibodies against canine distemper virus and/or canine Parvovirus. The age of the animals should generally be at least six weeks to avoid conflict between maternal antibodies and vaccines. Revaccination with Nobivac DHPPi is recommended, considering that some dogs may not respond to vaccination at this age due to high maternal antibodies they have, and to protect against hepatitis (Canine Adenovirus Type 1), CAV2 infections and parainfluenza. Considering that vaccination with Nobivac Puppy DP is part of a comprehensive vaccination program, it is recommended that you follow the recommendations below.
4-6 weeks old: Nobivac Puppy DP
8-9 weeks old: Nobivac DHPPi + Nobivac Lepto
12 weeks old: Nobivac DHPPi + Nobivac Lepto or Nobivac DHPPi + Nobivac Rabies
REVACCINATION:
For dogs;
-Every two years against distemper and hepatitis,
-Every year against Parvovirus and parainfluenza
-Vaccination against rabies is recommended every three years (may vary depending on the relevant country’s laws).
WARNINGS: Only healthy dogs should be vaccinated, and the animal’s health should be checked by clinical examination before vaccination.

Contact with sources that may cause infection within 14 days after vaccination should be avoided.
Sterile equipment must be used during vaccination to prevent contamination.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Mild anaphylactic-type hypersensitivity may possibly occur due to foreign proteins. These types of reactions are self-limiting in many cases.
VACCINATION REACTIONS: Rarely, mild anaphylactic hypersensitivity may develop after vaccination, which can be seen with all foreign proteins. These reactions often disappear on their own.
LEGAL PURIFICATION PERIOD: Not applicable.
OTHER FACTS: Experience has shown that maternal antibody levels can vary widely, even in offspring born within the same litter. Therefore, the mother’s serological status alone may not provide sufficient information to determine the antibody levels of the offspring.
How to Store: It should be stored in a dark environment at 2–8°C. It should not be left at room temperature for a long time after taking it out of the refrigerator. The vaccine’s effectiveness may decrease significantly within a few hours on hot summer days. Nobivac Solvent can be kept at room temperature.
COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION: It is sold in cardboard boxes containing 5, 10, 25 or 50 vials.
DISPOSAL CONDITIONS OF WASTE MATERIALS: It is disposed of under national legislation.
